Disney’s Festival of the Holidays starts in just a couple of weeks.
Over at CommuniCore Hall, Disney bakers will be setting up an 8-foot-tall gingerbread display the looks like Spaceship Earth. Disney’s gingerbread displays are always so beautiful, and I’m sure this one will be no different. Not only will the gingerbread display look like Spaceship Earth, it will also light up to music throughout the day.
Also in CommuniCore Hall will be the Glittering Grove, where guests will find a forest of twinkling trees. This will probably be a really pretty backdrop for pictures. Next, guests will find two new Holiday Kitchens here as well. The first is Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow where they will be selling cookies, including the same triangles cookies that were used to make the Spaceship Earth gingerbread display. Next is the Favorites of Festivals Past, which will be serving up fan favorite dishes from past years.
Over in CommuniCore Plaza will be a complimentary activity for everyone. Anyone who wishes can participate in snowflake decorating. Also in this area will be JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season, so guests can listen to festive music as they decorate their snowflakes.
Lastly, Disney will be teaming up with Scentsy to bring guests Festive Fragrances presented by Scentsy. This area will be designed as a snow globe gardens that are inspired by Scentsy’s season scents.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will run from November 29 through December 30. Are you visiting Disney World during the Festival of the Holidays?
