It was announced a few months ago that the Muppets would be performing in Liberty Square. Disney has announced a starting date for this new show and you won’t have to wait long to see the show.
Starting October 2, join Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and The Great Gonzo for “The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History” will be performed in Liberty Square right outside The Hall of Presidents. The show will be hosted by the town crier of Liberty Square, James “J.J.” Jefferson, and (of course) Sam Eagle.
History will be depicted in a unique way that only the Muppets can do. So prepare to see a hysterical take on the midnight ride of Paul Revere or the signing of the Declaration of Independence (which includes an original song).
Show times will vary, so make sure to check the printed Times Guide or your My Disney Experience app on the day you are visiting Magic Kingdom.
My family loves the Muppets, so needless to say we are very excited for this show!
