If you have opened the My Disney Experience app recently you will have seen the schedule of fireworks for New Year’s Eve. Guests will have three different parks to choose from to see New Year’s Eve fireworks, and in Magic Kingdom there will be two viewing times.
Starting with the most popular park to see New Year’s Eve fireworks, Magic Kingdom has the fireworks scheduled for 2 different days and 2 different times each day. On both December 30 and 31 “Fantasy in the Sky” will take place at both 6:30 pm and 11:50 pm. So if you are in the park either of those days and have little ones that won’t make it until midnight, the 6:30 show is a nice option to have.
Heading over to EPCOT, guests will also have two opportunities to see fireworks shows. However, at EPCOT there will be a different fireworks show for each time slot. On December 31, guests can view “Luminous The Symphony of Us” at 6:30 pm. Those wishing to stay for the New Year’s Eve fireworks can then see “Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration” starting at 11:54 pm.
Finally, Disney has added a fireworks show to Hollywood Studios for New Year’s Eve. Their fireworks show will take place on December 31 at 11:57 pm. In addition to the fireworks, Hollywood Studios will also have live entertainment for guests throughout the evening, including a Pixar Dance party.
Are you planning to be in any of the parks for New Year’s Eve fireworks?
