We are just two months out now from the opening of Toy Story Land and the excitement is certainly starting to build. There’s definitely excitement for the new attractions coming to the land!
The Slinky Dog Dash coaster and Alien Swirling Saucers are joining Toy Story Mania! as the ride experiences that will be available in Toy Story Land. As with any new land opening, one ride in particular has become a favorite already. The Slinky Dog Dash coaster is clearly the fan favorite, as it is the ride to run out of FastPasses first.
For opening day, June 30, both new ride experiences are out of FastPasses. Even the following day is already out of FastPasses for the Slinky Dog Dash coaster. There seems to be plenty for Toy Story Mania! though. All three rides are on the same tier, so you can only pick one in advance for a FastPass. So I expect that Toy Story Mania! will be the last one to run out of FastPasses, at least for the next year or two. Everyone is going to want to ride the two new rides and the wait times for the coaster will probably be pretty long.
Can’t get a FastPass for either of the new rides? I would keep checking for FastPasses. Sometimes Disney adds more FastPasses or times will randomly pop up, because people cancel or switch times. If you still can’t get a FastPass then I recommend getting to Hollywood Studios at least an hour before the park opens. That way you can head straight to Toy Story Land right when it opens.
I’m so excited for this land to open and can’t wait to see more than some oversized Tinker Toys above the construction walls!
