This week’s Snackshot brings us to the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot. This same tart was available during the Flower & Garden Festival this year and it sounded really good, so I decided to try it.
There is always so much to choose from during the festivals at Epcot. I always recommend splitting the food, because even though they are not meals, they are still a good portion size. So by sharing you leave room to be able to try more. My friends and I did that with some of the food that we tried this past March at the (very short) Flower & Garden Festival. This tart was at the France Pavilion and it looked really good, so we gave it a try.
The tart itself consists of goat cheese and caramelized onions on a flaky pastry crust. The goat cheese on our tart was melted perfectly and it was very creamy. There were plenty of caramelized onions topping the tart and the taste of the onions and the goat cheese mixed together really well. The pastry was tasty too and added a nice texture when taking a bite. I really enjoyed this one and would definitely order it again. I’m hoping they keep this one around for both festivals!
See the full list of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival food and drink offerings here. The festival is a bit scaled down this year, for obvious reasons, but there are still a lot of good things to try.
Have you tried this tart at any of the festivals? What’s your favorite thing to get at the Food & Wine Festival?
Hope you enjoyed this week’s Snackshot! Thanks for reading!
