Disney had recently put a halt on new dining reservations. However, it looks like there is now some availability at restaurants in Disney Springs. Checking the website a few restaurants showed up with times for lunch when I looked this morning.
I picked a random day, July 28, and found availability at 8 different restaurants in Disney Springs for lunch. No reservations are showing as available in the parks yet. It’s a good sign, though, that at least some Disney Springs restaurants are taking reservations again. Guests have been able to get back some of their cancelled reservations, which is some good news. Plus, it gives a bit of hope for more dining to open soon.
I checked for dinner reservations as well and a couple more restaurants were added to the list. Keep in mind all these restaurants are in Disney Springs. So far, the most restaurants I have seen available for booking is 10, which doesn’t seem like much given the number of restaurants in Disney World, but it’s a start. Since the parks don’t open until July 11 and July 15 we may have to wait until we get closer to see more options, but we’ll see.
Here are the 10 restaurants that are showing on Disney’s website for booking lunch and/or dinner: Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, Frontera Cocina, House of Blues Restaurant & Bar, Morimoto Asia, Planet Hollywood, STK Orlando, T-Rex, Wine Bar George – A Restaurant & Bar, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, and Pradiso 37, Taste of the Americas. I’ve checked multiple days and these are the restaurants that show as available, but it’s always possible that more could open up as you get closer to your arrival day. Also, please remember that the dining reservation window is now 60 days, so if your arrival day is more than 60 days out you will not be able to make reservations yet.
Are you excited to see some dining reservations available again?
Thanks for reading!
