Disney’s Mobile Ordering option is growing quickly. The My Disney Experience app feature started with just one quick service restaurant and is now up to seven.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe has been added as an option for guests when using the Mobile Order feature. That makes the second Magic Kingdom quick service restaurant listed; the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant has been an option for about a week.
Disney had said they would be expanding the choices for Mobile Ordering over the summer and they were not kidding. The number of restaurants has grown quite a bit in the month and a half that this option has been available in the app. Disney plans to keep growing the options available for Mobile Ordering.
I’ve said it before and I will say it again, I love that this is now an option. This will help to keep the lines moving, especially during the busier times. It will also be more efficient for guests, because there will be less time waiting. Guests can decide what they want, order it, pay for it, and then pick it up when they are ready (click “I’m here” when ready to pick up).
We will keep you posted as more restaurants are added to the Mobile Order feature.
Have you used Mobile Ordering yet?
Thanks for reading!

Are there any plans (or rumors) that those with the DDP can utilize mobile ordering?
Hi Brad! Unfortunately, at this time only credit cards can be used with the Mobile Order feature. Hopefully, they will add the ability to use DDP credits and Disney gift cards some point soon. We will definitely keep watch for that and report when it changes!
