Disney has been working hard on Toy Story Land, which is supposed to open next summer. It’s always encouraging to see the aerial views of the progress, but it’s even better when Disney releases a video update.
The Slinky Dog Dash ride is one of two new attractions that will be opening with this new section. The idea is that Andy built a roller coaster in his backyard with a kit and other toys of his. The coaster will take guests through turns and some dips, all while riding the Slinky Dog vehicle.
With the arrival of the first ride vehicle, it’s definitely feeling that the opening of Toy Story Land will soon be here. In addition to Slinky Dog Dash, there will be an Alien Swirling Saucers ride where guests ride in a rocket and have to avoid “The Claw.”
It’s very exciting to see this roller coaster taking shape. It seems like it’s almost done and, if that is the case, hopefully we will soon be seeing pictures of the Alien Swirling Saucers ride being built.

Toy Story Land is scheduled to open in Hollywood Studios in summer 2018. However, Disney has not released an exact opening month or date yet. We will keep you updated as more information is released.
