Some of the best foods are breakfast foods, especially when we’re talking about breakfast in Disney. And now there is a breakfast option at Kidani Village.

The Thing-a-ma-bobs That Do the Jobs!
Being the multi-cultural phenomenon that the world of Disney is, it’s easy to think of the icons that mean Disney: the castles, the mice, the fireworks, the rides, the movies, the clothing, the other characters, and the food! As I was looking at the new LEGO Castle that is being released, and looking at all its details, I realized how many little things mean Disney to me, which I don’t even think of!

Do You Have an Elusive Disney Restaurant?
What do I mean by an “elusive restaurant?” I mean a place that you want to try and you make reservations on multiple different occasions, but can never seem to actually make it there.

Goodbye Fulton’s Crab House, Hello… Paddlefish?
Fulton’s Crab House has been closed since early April for refurbishment. Disney had said that there would be a new menu, but there is another big change guests will see when it reopens in the fall.
According to Disney Parks Blog, when the restaurant reopens this fall it will have a new name. So not only will the menu be a little different, but the sign will say Paddlefish instead of Fulton’s Crab House.
With the new name also comes a new design for the boat, a more modern design. It will have a rooftop lounge that will be open until 2 a.m. and it will have its own menu, separate from the restaurant.
The restaurant menu will include:
- Fresh Seafood
- Steaks
- Chops
- A Catch of the Day
- Lobster Risotto with Poached Maine Lobster
- Saffron and Meyer Lemon Oil and Redfish with Coconut Milk, Crab Broth, Tomato, Peppers, and Ginger
- Lobster Guacamole with Maine Lobster, Chilies, Cilantro, Lime, and Tortilla Chips
- Build-Your-Own-Boil (Pick Your Own Ingredients and Seasonings)
Some favorites will return too:
- Florida Stone Crab
- Alaskan King and Queen Crab
- Lobster Corn Dogs
The restaurant will be open for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch.
I’ll be honest, I don’t deal well with change, but some of the new menu items sound really good. However, I think it’s going to take a while for the new name to grown on me.
What do you think? Are you excited to try Paddlefish when it opens in the fall?
Thanks for reading!

Favorites Around World Showcase: France
Epcot’s World Showcase is full of food and drink choices. With all of the countries, and each one having multiple choices, it can be hard to decide what to have sometimes. For drinks, though, there is one that I must always get at least once during each trip.
