Today is the first day of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. As with any of EPCOT’s festivals there is lots to see and experience.
If you are heading to EPCOT during the festival make sure to grab a Festival Passport, which you can find as you are entering the park. These Festival Passports have all the Outdoor Kitchens listed and guests can get stamps when they visit each stand. In addition, there’s a Garden Graze food stroll guests can take part in. When guests purchase an item from the Garden Graze list it gets checked off and once five items have been purchased guests get a treat from Pineapple Promenade.
In addition to the many food options available during the festival, Disney has some activities for guests to experience. The obvious thing for guests to see are the many topiaries and gardens on display. The gardens have different themes and most of the topiaries are designed after different Disney characters. Other activities include Butterfly Landing, Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration, Festival Photo Ops, and the Garden Rocks Concert Series. Find the full list and descriptions here.
Disney has also released a line of merchandise specific to this festival. Guests can find these collections at different stands throughout the festival. The collections include the Spike the Bee Collection, the Alice in Wonderland Collection, and the Orange Bird Collection. Disney released some of the items on disneystore.com as well, so even if you are not visiting during the festival you can order merchandise.
Are you planning to visit EPCOT during the Flower & Garden Festival? What are you most looking forward to trying or seeing at the festival?
