Christmas has returned to the Magic Kingdom. The decorations are up and the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is happening tonight. Another favorite of the Christmas season has also returned.
According to Disney Parks Blog, the Jingle Cruise is back! The reason for the holiday makeover of the Jungle Cruise is that the Skippers are homesick for the holidays. So they did a little decorating. The boats even get new names for the holiday season.
A tip from Disney Parks Blog: While in the queue, listen carefully. You might be able to hear some holiday radio broadcasts in the background. Love all the fun details Disney puts in the queues!
In other Jungle Cruise news, the Jungle Skipper Canteen is set to open in late 2015. So it should be opening soon. Guests can expect to see “World Famous Jungle Cuisine” on the menu.
According to Disney Parks Blog, there will be a bunch of dining rooms to choose from. The rooms include a crew mess hall and a once-hidden secret meeting room of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers. We’ll keep you updated as new information comes in about the Jungle Skipper Canteen.
Are you excited for the return of the Jungle Cruise?
Thanks for reading!

Jungle cruise has always been one of my favorites. Will be there in 28 days can’t wait to ride.
Hi Susan!
That’s so exciting!
I agree, the Jungle Cruise is great ride. Can’t wait for The Jungle Cruise themed restaurant to open, it’s going to be fun! I just hope the Skippers in the restaurant make the corny jokes too 🙂
Hope you have a magical trip filled with lots of pixie dust!
