When Woody and Jessie were removed from their meeting spot in Frontierland, guests were disappointed, because that was the only place to see Jessie. So people have been hoping she would have a new home when Toy Story Land opens on June 30.
It would be surprising if Disney did not include Jessie in the character meet and greets. It wouldn’t make sense to leave her out. So this isn’t surprising news, but it is nice to have the confirmation that the yodeling cowgirl will be back.
Jessie will be joining Woody and Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story Land to greet guests. The announcement did not mention the Green Army Men, but I would be surprised if they were not included somewhere in Toy Story Land too.
June 30 is the opening date and the excitement has been building for some time. In addition to the characters, guests can experience the new attractions Slinky Dog Dash Coaster and Alien Swirling Saucers and a guest favorite, Toy Story Mania!. Plus, guests can grab a bite at Woody’s Lunch Box, a quick service window that will offer classic American fare, old-fashioned soda floats, and Toy Story-inspired specialties.
Toy Story Land is shaping up to be a really fun addition to Hollywood Studios! Are you as excited as I am for it to open!
