Disney recently announced that more restaurants will be reopening in Disney World by mid-December. Both Story Book Dining at Artist Point and Boatwright’s Dining Hall will be open in just a few short weeks.
Story Book Dining at Artist Point is a fun character dining experience where guests get to see Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and The Queen. It doesn’t sound like they’re doing pictures with The Queen just yet, but hopefully that will return soon, because she’s fun to interact with. All the characters will stroll through the dining area so guests can see them while they enjoy their meal. If you have been to this dining experience before then you’ll be happy to know that the Royal Prime Rib Roast, A Stroll Through Nature (vegetarian dish), and the “Poison” Apple dessert are among the menu items returning when the restaurant reopens. Story Book Dining at Artist Point officially reopens on December 16 and reservations will open on December 2.
Another restaurant we can look forward to reopening is Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Port Orleans – Riverside. This dining experience has dishes that are inspired by the Louisiana bayou. Guests can enjoy things like the all-you-care-to-enjoy Chef’s Platter, prime rib, shrimp and grits, Mississippi Mud Creme Brulee, and more from the menu. The decor includes hanging lanterns throughout the dining hall and the hull of a lugger fishing boat as the centerpiece hanging in the middle of the restaurant. Boatwright’s will reopen on December 14 and reservations will open on December 2.
So by this time next month guests will be back at these two restaurants. It’s really good to see more and more dining experiences reopening. Are you excited about the return of Story Book Dining and Boatwright’s Dining Hall?
Thanks for reading!
