Splash Mountain just opened from a lengthy refurb less than two months ago, and now it’s down again.
The latest refurbishment list shows Splash Mountain closed on January 8 and will reopen on February 1. The popular log flume ride just reopened on November 16 after closing on August 28 for a refurbishment. Hopefully once this refurb is done that will be it for a while.
It’s always a good idea to keep an eye on the refurbishment lists, because they can change. If you know what is going to be closed ahead of time you can plan out your day, so you don’t include rides in your plans that will be closed when you are in Disney World. Plus, it saves your traveling party from finding out a favorite ride is closed while on vacation and being disappointed.

The Walt Disney World Resort Monorail System may be on modified service and/or routes during the refurb. There will be alternative transportation options available for guests when needed. This refurbishment is ongoing.
