It looks like we are getting one step closer to having an idea of when the parks will open. Today it was announced that both Walt Disney World and Sea World will present their reopening plans.
Tomorrow, May 27, the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force will meet from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. At some point in those two hours Walt Disney World will be sharing what their reopening plans are and the task force will take them under review.
For those that would like to watch these proceedings you can visit http://www.ocfl.net/OrangeTV. I’ll be watching and post an update as to their proposed opening date. Once the plan is presented it will have to be passed by the task force and then sent to the governor for approval.
It will be nice to have an idea of when the parks will be reopening and what kind of experience guests can expect. It’s safe to say that it’s not going to start off at full capacity and I wouldn’t be surprised if not everything was open right away, but we’ll see. Once there are some definite answers I’ll post an update.
Who else is excited to hear about Disney World’s reopening plan?
Thanks for reading!
Liz
