Last week I posted the above picture, and while there were some great guesses, three people knew exactly where this picture was taken.
Congratulations to Melanie, Lisa, and Lee who all knew the light can be found in the queue for Ariel’s Grotto! This is the area where guests were once able to meet Ariel and take pictures. Just like other queue lines, this one is designed to fit the theme of the attraction, so there’s a lot of shells and other things that give the idea that you are supposed to be in the ocean visiting Ariel. Right now, the meet and greet is temporarily unavailable, but hopefully it will return at some point in the future. It was a fun place for pictures! It was also the one place guests could have their picture take with Ariel as a mermaid.
Ariel’s Grotto is located next to Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. This attraction takes guests on a journey through the story of The Little Mermaid in a clam mobile. Guests will see characters and scenes they know from the movie, and hear some of the classic songs. It’s a cute ride that the whole family can enjoy.
