Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some really good guesses this week, but six of you knew where to find this ceiling.
Congratulations to Doug, Jen, Disney Dennis, Sammie, Rick, and Lisa who all knew that the ceiling can be found in Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom. Specifically, guests can find the ceiling in the West Wing of Be Our Guest Restaurant. This is the part of the restaurant that has the enchanted rose that loses petals as you dine. It’s the darkest of the dining areas, so keep that in mind if you have little ones in your party who might have a fear of the dark.
In addition to the West Wing there are two other dining areas. The Grand Ballroom is the main dining area and the place everyone walks through. There is a high, domed ceiling and big arches that are supposed to be windows looking out from the Beast’s castle. It’s a big room and there is lots of seating in this area. The Castle Gallery is themed after Belle’s library. It’s smaller than the Grand Ballroom, but there’s still a good amount of seating here. If you do eat in this dining room you’ll be treated to large figures of Belle and Beast dancing.
Lunch and dinner are served at Be Our Guest Restaurant. Both are prix fixed meals where guests get a choice of appetizer and entree. For dessert guests are treated to a trio of desserts. Both meal times are $62 for adults and $37 for kids (ages 3-9). You can see the full menu here.
Congratulations to those who knew where to find the ceiling and thanks to everyone who played along! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon.
Have you been inside Be Our Guest Restaurant? Which one is your favorite room to sit in?
Thanks for reading!
