Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some great guesses, but seven of you knew exactly where to find this pattern.
Congratulations to Rebecca, Kitty-Katy, Will, Linda, Tammy, Judy, and Addi who all knew the pattern can be found on a fountain at Magic Kingdom. Specifically, it’s the background to the Cinderella fountain which is located behind the castle. It’s located pretty close to the path that wraps around the side of the castle from Fantasyland back towards Main Street U.S.A.
This fountain has a fun feature that’s included on the background. In addition to the pattern in the picture, there is also a crown. At first, when you look at the fountain it seems the crown is just kind of floating on the background, but that changes when you bend down a bit. If you bend down or sit on the side of the fountain the crown will now appear to be on top of Cinderella’s head. Young children are at the right height to see the crown on Cinderella’s head without having to crouch down, which is the reason for the placement on the fountain background.
Congratulations to those that knew where the pattern is located and thanks to everyone who played along! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon.
Have you noticed this fountain in Magic Kingdom?
Thanks for reading!
