Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. This popular bench was correctly identified by eight people.
Congratulations to Gina, Judy, Gregg, Melanie, Mary, Caroline, Rick, and Linda who all knew that the bench can be found in front of Raglan Road in Disney Springs. The statue on the bench is Patrick Kavanagh, an Irish poet and author. If you are looking for a different kind of photo opportunity, this is a good option. The bench may move to different locations in front of the building, but it’s always there.
Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant is located in The Landing area of Disney Springs. It’s a popular dining spot in the area and for good reason. Seven days a week guests dining at the restaurant are treated to nightly live entertainment from different acts. One of those acts is The Rhythms of Raglan, a 90-minute show that includes Irish dancers from Riverdance. Kids are invited to join in the dance and can receive a signed certificate of achievement. It’s a fun experience for the whole family!
The restaurant serves brunch, lunch, and dinner. There is a variety of items to choose from, including many Irish dishes. Beer, specialty drinks, flights of whiskey, and wine are also available for guests 21 and older. This is a popular experience, so reservations are highly recommended.
