Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where is it located. This is definitely a popular ride in the park and 11 people knew where to find the donkeys.
Congratulations to everyone who knew the donkeys are found on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom. This picture of the donkeys was taken from the Magic Kingdom Railroad as it passed by the ride. Located in Frontierland, this is the “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness” and everyone who has been on the ride just read that in the narrator’s voice, I’m sure. It’s a fun ride that twists and turns, and has some good drops. One of my favorite times to ride this one is during the fireworks, it’s definitely a fun way to watch the show!
Each of the mountains in Magic Kingdom has their own theme with detailed queues. For Big Thunder Mountain the queue line has guests winding through a queue line that eventually descends into an abandoned mine shaft to board the train. The trains then take guests on a fast ride around the mountain. There are plenty of details during the ride too, so take a look around while on the ride. Check out the video below for a point-of-view ride.
Congratulations to everyone who knew where to find the donkeys and thanks to everyone who played along. Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon! What’s your favorite part of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad?
Thanks for reading!

‘this is the “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness” and everyone who has been on the ride just read that in the narrator’s voice’—thanks for a good laugh Liz, that was great.
LOL Glad you got a chuckle out of that, Caroline! 🙂
