Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. This one seemed to be a little tougher than others.
The mushroom in the picture is located at Hollywood Studios. Specifically, you can find it on the Alien Swirling Saucers ride in Toy Story Land. This cute ride has guests seated in a vehicle that is attached to an alien in their flying saucer. When the ride starts, guests are whipped around a bit as they go in circles around the ride area. Above them is the claw that the aliens love in Toy Story (“the claaawww”). It’s a cute ride and a good one for little ones who aren’t quite ready for Slinky Dog Dash.
Other Attractions in Toy Story Land
- Slinky Dog Dash – A really fun outdoor roller coaster where the ride vehicle is Slinky himself.
- Toy Story Mania! – This is a 3D carnival themed ride where guests get to rack up points and compete with the person sitting next to them.
- Character Meet and Greets – Buzz, Woody, and Jessie will meet guests throughout the day in Toy Story Land. The Green Army Men will make appearances as well, but they march through the crowd playing instruments. They do not stop to meet with guests, but feel free to snap a selfie or video them as they pass.
In addition to the attractions there are two places to grab food. The quick service location is Woody’s Lunch Box and the table service restaurant is called Roundup Rodeo BBQ. There are also a couple of merchandise stands where guests can purchase Toy Story themed souvenirs.
