Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some good guesses, but five people knew where to find the glass slipper.
Congratulations to Abbie (I hope you’re able to get a picture with the slipper this week!), Mike, Carol, Penny, and Gina, who all knew the glass slipper can be found at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. When you visit this resort, make sure to go to the second floor, which overlooks the lobby, and you will find this photo opportunity. Look for the backdrop and you will see the glass slipper in front of it. If there is no cast member there taking pictures the front desk should be able to give you an idea when they will be back.
Also on the second floor is a really nice lounge called the Enchanted Rose. As the name implies, this lounge has a Beauty and the Beast theme. The decor is subtle and sophisticated, more in line with the live action Beauty and the Beast rather than the cartoon. It’s a nice place to sit back, relax, and end a busy day in Disney World. The impressive chandelier in the main part of the lounge is themed after Belle’s signature dress and it is beautiful. In addition to the main lounge, guests can sit in the library, the garden room, or on the outdoor patio, which all keep to the Beauty and the Beast theme.
