Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is. There were some great guesses, as always, but two people knew where to find the carpet.
Congratulations to Caroline and Penny who both knew the carpet can be found at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Caroline went a step further and pointed out that the carpet is located near the check-in point for California Grill, one of the restaurants located in the Contemporary. This is one of a few table service restaurants located at this resort, in addition guests will find Chef Mickey’s and Steakhouse 71 at the hotel.
The California Grill restaurant is located on the 15th floor of the Contemporary and has panoramic views of the area. Guests dining here will see beautiful views of the lagoon and Magic Kingdom, including Cinderella Castle. In addition to the views, the restaurant also pipes in the music and narration from Happily Ever After. Anyone who dines at the restaurant is allowed to come back, on the same night they have reservations at the restaurant, and use the observation deck to watch the fireworks show. It’s a really nice feature that only a few of Disney’s restaurants have.
California Grill serves dinner only and it’s served as a 3 course selection meal. So that means guests pay one price and pick from a list of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Kids’ have a separate menu that is set up the same way. Adults are $89 each and kids are $39 each.
