Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where is it located. Three people knew where to find the Rex in the picture.
Congratulations to Winnie, Melanie, and Penny, who all knew the Rex is located on Slinky Dog Dash. Guests can see the wall with Rex from the queue line and they’ll get an up close look once on the ride, since it’s the first thing outside of the queue area that the ride vehicles pass. Slinky Dog Dash is located in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios, and is one of Disney’s most popular rides. This fun outdoor roller coaster is supposed to be a new toy that Andy set up in his backyard and guests can see some of the toys helping to hold up the lights over the ride (including Rex). On the ride there are some good views of Toy Story Land and there are fun details to see. Check out Disney’s POV video of the ride to see some of those details pointed out (including the wall with Rex).
Slinky Dog Dash is definitely one of our must do rides when we’re in Hollywood Studios. It’s such a fun ride and while there are no loops, it’s still a pretty thrilling coaster.
