A couple of days ago I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some great guesses, but there were also quite a few people who knew exactly where to find all those TVs.
The TVs are located at the Tune-In Lounge at the 50’s Prime Time Cafe. This fun lounge is a great place to get a drink while you are waiting for your table, or if you can’t get a table you can also get food here. The lounge and the waiting area are in the same area, so when you are at the bar you still feel like you are in 50’s living room when you look around. The decorations here fit the theme perfectly and you still get some of the funny banter from the Cast Members (they act as though they are one of your family members). Plus, there are clips from shows that were on in the 50s on the TVs. It’s fun to watch old clips of shows like “The Dick Van Dyke Show.”
The menu consists of specialty drinks with fun names (like “Dad’s Electric Lemonade”) and food that can be ordered right at the bar. The food menu is the same as the restaurant menu, which is helpful if you have a favorite dish here, because you can order it at the bar. So it’s nice to know that even if you can’t get a table at this popular restaurant, you can still order a full meal at the bar.
Menu Items Include
- Cousin Amy’s Iceberg Lettuce Wedge
- Dad’s Stuffed Pork Chop
- Mom’s Old-fashioned Pot Roast
- Grandma’s Chicken Pot Pie
- Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken
- Cousin Harold’s Vegetable Lasagna
- Peanut Butter & Jelly Milk Shake
- Dad’s Favorite Chocolate-Peanut Butter Layered Cake
- Mom’s Brownie
- And more!
Even if you are not staying for a drink, the Tune-In Lounge is a fun place to take a look around. The theme and decor blend right in with the decor for the restaurant and there are so many details to see.
Have you been to the Tune-In Lounge?
Thanks for reading!
