The other day I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. This one was a little more random than some of the other pictures, but some people knew where to find it.
The barrel in the picture is located on the Jungle Cruise attraction. The picture was taken from the boat, so the barrel is tucked in a corner on the loading area. These are the fun little details that I like taking pictures of. I’ve been on the ride more times than I can count, but this was the first time I really noticed this barrel and now I’ll always see it when I go on the ride.
The Jungle Cruise is one of Disney’s classic rides and it is known for the corny jokes that the skippers tell during the ride. Your trusty skipper will take you on a journey on rivers in Asia, Africa, and South America. They’ll point out all the all the animals spotted along the way and tell you to be on the lookout for a tribe of headhunters that has been spotted in the area. It’s a fun ride that everyone should experience, especially since it’s a classic Disney ride. Plus, I think everyone should experience those jokes from the witty skippers.
It’s also a good ride to use as a way to get off your feet for a bit. The journey lasts about 10 minutes, so it’s a good amount of time to rest your feet from all the walking.
If you happen to be in the park during the Christmas season you can see a different version. The ride gets a Christmas themed makeover, including the jokes, and it’s called the Jingle Cruise.
Thanks to everyone who played along this week and congratulations to those that knew where the barrel is located! We’ll play again next Wednesday!
What’s your favorite part of the Jungle Cruise?
Thanks for reading!
