Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where the clock is located. There were a lot of great guesses and some people were able to successfully point to where it’s located.
The clock is located at The Edison in Disney Springs. It’s right in the entrance, so it’s the first thing you see when you walk in. The clock is open all around, which means you can walk around the back and see the inner working so of it. It’s a pretty cool part of the decor!
The Edison is a table service restaurant located in The Landing section of Disney Springs. It’s designed to look like a 1920s electric company with an industrial look and feel. There are two levels to the restaurant with 35-foot ceilings, so you can stand in one spot and see a good portion of the restaurant. The Edison has some fun themed areas too, including: The Ember Parlour, Telegraph Lounge, The Patent Office, the Tesla Lounge, The Radio Room, Waterfront Patio, and The Lab.
In addition to the decor and the themed areas, there is also nightly entertainment. Guests can see contortionists, aerialists, live cabaret, DJs, and more, there isn’t a dull moment with the entertainment here. Keep in mind that if you arrive after 10 p.m. there is venue appropriate attire required and all guests must be at least 21 years old. As per Disney’s website:
Men may wear slacks, jeans or dress shorts. Jackets are optional. No ball caps, sleeveless shirts or flip-flops allowed.
The menu has a variety of options. Guests can choose from Shares & Nibbles, Salads, Handheld & Shockwaves, Sweets, Kids’ Starters, Kids’ Main Course, Kids’ Sweets, Kids’ Beverage, Coffee, Edison Mocktails, Edison Vintage Cocktails, Edison Signature Cocktails, Beer, Cider, and Wine. We ate at this restaurant for lunch and it was awesome! Had a few special drinks and they were delicious Service and food were great! Enjoyed the deco.
