Last week I posted the above picture asking for guesses as to where it is located. As always, there were some great guesses, but only a few people were able to pin point where the light fixture is located.
You can find the lights at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, specifically at Banana Cabana, the walk-up pool bar. The Caribbean Beach Resort is filled with lots of fun and bright colors and this bar fits in perfectly with the rest of the resort.
Guests visiting the Banana Cabana will find a variety of drinks and food to choose from. Seating includes bar stools and tables, but there isn’t a lot of seating. However, if you can find a spot here, it’s a nice place to sit and enjoy your surroundings.
Menu Items Include
- Appetizers
- Entrees
- Kids’ Meals
- Non-Alcoholic Specialties
- Specialty Drinks
- Beer
- Wine
- Sangria
Appetizers include jerk chicken wings, loaded sweet potato fries, and chili con queso. Entrees include things like chilled seafood salad, plant-based jerk sandwich, smoked turkey sandwich, an angus bacon cheeseburger, and a Caribbean-style cheesesteak, as well as other sandwiches and salads. Kids can choose from macaroni & cheese, a cheeseburger, or a smoked turkey sandwich.
So if you are staying at or visiting the Caribbean Beach Resort it’s worth stopping by Banana Cabana. The decorations are fun and festive, plus it’s a nice place to sit and relax for a bit.
Thanks to everyone who played along this week and congratulations to those that knew where the light fixture is located! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon!
Have you been to the Banana Cabana?
Thanks for reading!

Hello Liz this is Disney Dennis when my children were little about 28 years ago we always stayed at the Caribbean beach resort . It was new back then and sometimes we would stay for 12 days.I know they recently remodeled it.There were 4 of us , now there’s 11 of us and we actually visited this past fall..I have a quick question,is the people mover back up and running in the magic kingdom?? I know the question is unrelated but my grandchildren love that ride which originated in the New York worlds fair in 1963 …Thanks again for all your information..
Hi Dennis!
As far as I know the PeopleMover is running. Sounds like you had a fun trip this past fall with everyone. Nothing better than being in Disney with family! 🙂
