Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. This is clearly a popular spot because a lot of you were able to pinpoint the location.
You can find the umbrellas surrounding Cape May Cafe, the character dining experience at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Up until the shutdown, this restaurant was an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet with characters who stopped by your table. Guests could get pictures with Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy all dressed in their beach gear. The characters also signed autographs when they stopped by the tables. Things will be different when the restaurant reopens, but hopefully the characters will still parade through the dining room so guests can see them from a distance (like they are doing at Topolino’s Terrace).
The restaurant still has the buffet menus up on the website, but that will most likely change when they open. As of right now, though, the menu still shows all the options for both the breakfast and dinner buffets. The characters are only at the breakfast buffet, but both meal times have a good spread of food. Prices are $42 per adult and $27 per child for breakfast, and $55 per adult and $33 per child for dinner. Hopefully the restaurant will reopen with a similar menu for breakfast and dinner, even if it’s a family style meal, which is possible. I can’t see them having self-serve buffets anytime soon.
Thanks to everyone who played along this week and congratulations to those that knew where the umbrellas are located! Have you eaten at Cape May Cafe?
Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be soon! Thanks for reading!
